Complaints about Waterwatch Scotland
If you are not satisfied with the way in which Waterwatch Scotland has dealt with your complaint or wish to complain about the conduct of a Waterwatch Scotland member of staff, you may refer the matter to our Chief Officer.
The complaint will be acknowledged within two days of its receipt. Our Chief Officer will review the case and provide a full substantive response within ten days, along with details of what options are available to you should you remain dissatisfied.
During the course of the review there may be a requirement for further information gathering which may result in a delay due to a substantive response being issued. We will endeavour to keep such delays to a minimum and provide a substantive response within ten days of receipt of the final piece of information once gathered.
If the complaint is in respect of the Chief Officer then you may write directly to the Convener. The Convener will employ the same process.

Scottish Public Services Ombudsman
In the event that you remain dissatisfied with the way your complaint has been dealt with you can contact the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman, however, the Ombudsman can only consider Waterwatch’s procedures / processes and cannot question any findings in fact.
